What is Float?
Flotation is a uniquely immersive therapeutic experience that enhances your mental and physiological health. It has its roots in the scientific research of sensory deprivation. In 1954 a neuroscientist named John Lilly found that the distraction-free environment of his isolation tank led to incredibly enhanced states of mental relaxation. Since this discovery, research has proven that floating offers many ways to improve the collective and individual quality of life. Stress management, pain relief, mental health therapy, athletic advancement, and creative enhancement are a sample of what can be gained though float tank therapy.
Many people are unsure of the benefits of this age old practice. We encourage you to see how float can benefit you!

Athletic Improvement & Recovery
Float tanks are used worldwide for a number of regenerative reasons and have now been adopted by many professional athletes and organizations in order to help accelerate the recovery process. Some benefits of using flotation therapy for fitness include:
Floatation therapy offers relief of many kinds of pain. Effortlessly floating with zero pressure on muscles and joints, supplemented by the stress reduction and enhanced sleep, can work wonders for relieving pain.
Chronic pain disorders are notoriously difficult to treat because their causes can be impossible to pinpoint. However, promising research, including the Fibromyalgia Float Project is demonstrating that floating can provide immense relief to fibromyalgia sufferers.
Arthritic pain is often associated with the joints, and can be a huge barrier to enjoying many of life’s daily activities. Floating has been shown to reduce the intensity of pain in osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis. Thanks to its weightless environment, floating can relieve pressure and tension on the joints, and provide immediate physical relief to arthritis sufferers.
Anxiety, Depression, and Insomnia
The connection between floatation therapy and creativity is well known. It was first discovered through research involving jazz musicians at Ohio State University. Enhancing creativity is not only beneficial for professional artists. Any person can realize the benefits of floatation, no matter their career. Floatation therapy has been shown to enhance performance in a broad range of tasks. When feeling stuck or blocked, scheduling time for a float can make all the difference. With minimal time investment, a person can feel refreshed and creatively active in ways that broadly improve their quality of life. https://serenedreams.com/floating-for-creativity-learning-memory/
Creativity is as important for business people as it is for artists. Relaxation plays an important role in the creative process. It allows effortless calm and brings a microphone to your thoughts. While floating, one can view their life and business from a more objective perspective.
