What Is Happening At Calm Lake Float?
The first tank is being installed at the end of June. Keep updated on the finishing progress by following our Facebook page. Calm Lake is not currently operating as a business. Calm lake is available for friends, family, neighbors, and interested residents to explore the practice of float therapy. It is also an opportunity for we, at Calm Lake, to understand the interest and the need of the community for floating in the goal of opening up a store front in the area with the resources to serve more guests

Scientific research has confirmed the benefits of floating and the practice is becoming more culturally relevant with exponential speed. However, because much of the rapid growth of the industry has taken place in the last ten years, many people are still unfamiliar with the practice. To promote the understanding of floating in the New Ulm community, Calm Lake Floats will be providing an education initiative through the summer and early fall. During this time there will floating available available at no cost to our friends, family, neighbors, and the community. The experience suggests that clients float a total of three times throughout the course of one month and agree to be interviewed before and after this period. If you are interested in taking some time away from the daily sensory overload that is cell phones, internet, TV, and radio and would like to be part of educating Southern Minnesota about float tanks, we look forward to hearing from you.
