Floating through success!Maddie Hogue is a star swimmer from Mankato East High School and is also an active floater. She broke five Mankato East School records last year and hopes to win even more this year. She made it to state last year in all four events and has already broken another record in 2019. There are with hopes for more to come. Maddie says, “I float before each meet because it helps my muscles recover, it makes me very relaxed, and it helps me get in the zone and ready to race." At Calm Lake Floats we like to get to know our clients as floaters and we also enjoy getting to know them personally. Maddie is a great baker; she likes to vacation at the beach and her favorite color is blue. She says that some of her strengths are her swimming and ability to help others. One of the biggest reasons Maddie can wake up and say, “Today I am lucky,” is her family. Maddie’s favorite flavor of ice cream is chocolate and She never gets nervous before a race!! There are many float tanks throughout the world and each of them has their own personality and their own strengths. We at Calm Lake strive to make community our strength. Our goal at Calm Lake Floats is to educate our friends, neighbors, family, and community about the physical and mental health benefits of floating. We are also passionate about knowing each guest individually. We keep record of each client’s preferences. From temperature to music, to towel and robes, we try to accommodate it all. However, what we really love is learning about our is our clients lives and passions outside of the float world. We hope that this knowledge and care will help us serve each guest the best consideration and experience. We look forward to forming more of these relationships and helping our community friends achieve better physical, mental, and spiritual health. Follow us on Facebook & Instagram
